Yongqian Li (Michael) Started to study Chinese Martial arts at age of 8 and graduated from Beijing Physical Education University with a Major of Chinese Martial Arts. During his more than 30 years of martial arts life, he has learned and trained in numerous styles and forms of Chinese martial arts from various famous martial artists and coaches. Among many competitions in which he participated, Yongqian Li received a number of medals both in Forms and Sanshou including a China national championship in traditional form. Since he started his teaching and coaching career, he has trained quite a few Chinese martial arts champions both in China and in the U.S. including one U.S. national champion who was selected as one of the U.S. national team members to compete at the World Wushu Championships. Besides teaching at his own school, Yongqian Li has been teaching Chinese martial arts in numerous institutions, including University of Puget Sound, and gives seminars at institutions both in China and North America. He has been certified as a China National First Class Martial Arts Judge since 1986 and served in many Chinese martial arts competitions both in China and in the U.S., including being a Judge at the China National Traditional Wushu Competition in 1984, the Leader of Scheduling and Recording Group and Center Referee at the Third World Wushu Championships Sanshou Division in 1995, and the Chief Judge of Sanshou division at the Canadian National Sanshou Team Tryouts in 1999. In 1997, he served as the Leader of Scheduling and Recording Group and Center Referee at the United World Martial Arts Championships that was broadcast live on pay-per-view for the first time in the U.S. (ESPN2). He also was in several action movies and TV shows in China.
It is Yongqian Li’s wish that the world-renowned Chinese martial arts not only help people build a strong body and mind, but also help build strong relationships among people and nations. |

Master Nick Gracenin - Hermitage, PA
Nick J. Gracenin is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University (1980) with a B.A. in Theatre Arts, Acting and directing emphasis. As Director of Nick Gracenin Martial Arts and Fitness Center, he has studied martial arts since age 12, and currently holds the record for medals won at World Championships by a member of the U.S. Chinese Martial Arts team. From 1986 - 1999, Gracenin was an Executive Committee Member of the International Wu Shu Federation in Beijing. A founding member of the Executive Board of the USA Wu Shu Kung Fu Federation and an advisor to national and international martial art organizations, Gracenin is a respected member of the martial art circles worldwide. In 2000, " Inside Kung Fu" magazine named him one of the top "100 Influential Martial Artists of the Century". As a coach he has produced 20 members of US Teams and several national champions.

Master Dao Yun Chen - Cupertino, California Grandmaster Chen has been involved in professional Wu Shu training and coaching for 40 years. She won the National All-Around Championship for 13 consecutive years. She was Head coach of the Anhui Province Wu Shu team and ShenZhen City Wu Shu team in China. Master Ai Ping Cheng - Orange, CT Master Aiping Cheng was selected to compete in the highest level world competitions in both Tai Chi Chuan and Wushu-Kungfu. She was chosen for the most outstanding team in the world...the Chinese National Wushu Team ..six times. She is one of the most accomplished Tai Chi experts in the world. She is a three time gold medal winner in the highest level competitions in the world. In 1974, Master Cheng was selected to the famous athlete delegation that demonstrated for the President of the u. S. and other dignitaries. She has demonstrated these ancient Chinese arts for world leaders in 16 countries. In 1999, she was rated at one of the

experience teaching and coaching wushu.
The position of Athletic Development Director suits me because I am young, energetic, creative, outgoing, and friendly. People find it easy to talk to me beacause I really am concerned about their benefit. Since I am such a recent athlete, I am still aware of what the athletes want and need-and I am able to talk to them on equal terms to try and find a resoloution.

Hector M. Santiago is the director of the Puerto Rico Wu Shu Society with more than 20 years of experience in Martial Arts. Also as founder of the Wu Shu Kung fu Academy in Puerto Rico he teaches traditional Kung Fu styles like, Shaolin, Eagle Claw and Mantis. Internal Styles like Tai Ji Quan: Yang, Wu, Sun and Modern Wu Shu. Hector M. Santiago is a well known Master in the Chinese Martial Arts Community and producer of many International Chinese Martial Arts Champions.
