Arms should be straight - wrists to shoulder height - arms slightly behind you - palms flexed, fingers pointing up. Point your feet and kick inward to outward as if your foot is a pencil and you are drawing a rainbow across face height. From feet together step out with left and kick with right then return to feet together - then step out with right leg so you can now alternate and kick with left. I must explain this because many people struggle with the footwork.
